25.000 kilos of confeti will turn the streets of Salou into Coso Blanco’s venue

Salou’s Coso Blanco has been, for the last thirty-five years, a by-word for party, music and colours round the streets of Salou. This year, the event will take part on February 7, and will gather 28 themed carriages that will be performing for up to 32,000 people.

The celebration of the Coso Blanco is divided into two very different parts: in the morning, starting at 11am, those groups taking part will carry out a parade from Agobado Gallego St. all the way to Passeig Jaume I. In short, this will be the prelude for the big parade that will kick off at 6.30pm, with its centre point at Ciutat de Reus Street, which will become a true outdoors discotheque for everyone to see and enjoy.

This will require a drastic transformation thanks to 25,000 kilos of confetti, scattered by 20 cannons distributed throughout the whole route. Music will be played by DJ Ismael Cantos, and Juanma Hidalgo, as it has been for the last 33 years, will be the official speaker for a very special and magical party.

Coso Blanco is part of Salou’s Winter Festivities.
