Discover the most photogenic Salou

What spots do you think are the most photogenic in Salou? Pilons? Coastal Path? Coves? Lighthouse? Salou Tourist Board, IgersMap and the InstagramersTGN community have just started the IgersMapSalou, a map that will gather the most Instagram-like spots in town; that is, those places that are particularly appealing to photograph enthusiasts. This map, which will be published both in hard copy and digital format in the Salou Tourist Board and IgersMap websites, will be available for visitors as of next season in several languages.

The creation of this map, the IgersMapSalou, will be the result of 2 Instawalk meetings, guided tours during which Instagramers get to know the most photogenic spots in the capital of Costa Daurada, take pictures and then upload them to Instagram as #IgersMapSalou. The first of the 2 Instawalk meetings was held last Sunday 17 September, and the next one is due on Saturday 18 November. Moreover, any user with good pictures of Salou is encouraged to upload them and tag them too using #IgersMapSalou, which will eventually be part of the project.

These 2 meetings are expected to generate around 300 pictures of Salou. These photos will then be used to identify the various spots on a hard copy and virtual map, which will available for visitors willing to take on this thrilling Instagram route.
