Cala Font is a semi-urban cove, located in the most touristic area of Cap Salou. It provides a number of facilities so that users feel confortable and can enjoy a proper day in the beach.
Access to this cove is easy down Dunes Street, which takes swimmers right to the cove’s sand. It has very quiet and crystal-clear waters, which actually provide a clear view of the seabed. In fact, this is one of the best places in the entire Costa Daurada to enjoy snorkel! Cala Font also has other services such as water sport equipment, for the very brave ones, or hammock renting, for those willing to relax and escape from routine. Swimming area combines both fine golden sand and rocks.
If you’d also like to cool down with a drink or have a nibble while in the beach, you can do so in the restaurant located just opposite the shore, and have a superb day in Cap Salou.
On the other hand, and very near Cala Font, users can find another small cove (35m long and 60 wide) with easy access through a rocky area: Cala Vinya, also known as Cala Pinetell. This is a semi-urban cove, with clear waters and a number of facilities dedicated to swimmers. For example, you can rent hammocks, sunshades and little boats, so that you and your family have a simply stunning day in the beach.
And when the heat is almost unbearable, Cala Vinya does also provide a beach bar with refreshing beverages and ice creams. This cove has mainly fine sand, with rocky areas, and it is a unique postcard-like location, thanks to its quiet waters and the incredible views.
