The PortAventura Challenge Salou Costa Daurada will take place on May 31

The arrival of hot temperatures pushes us to go out, go cycling and even go swimming. This is exactly what the PortAventura Challenge Salou Costa Daurada is proposing, a successful sport event that will take place in Salou on Sunday, May 31. The event has the official support of Salou’s local government (Ajuntament de Salou), more specifically, the local Sports Councillor.

Triathlon is designed for high-performance athletes, and it consists of a 1.9km-swimming route, plus a 90km-cycling stage and a 21.1km on foot.

Another event is the Short Challenge, specially designed for those willing to emulate top-notch athletes, although on a shorter distance.

Besides these 2 events, thought specifically for elite sportsmen and sportswomen, PortAventura Challenge Salou is also addressed to non-professional sport enthusiasts, with even shorter stages.

Therefore, PortAventura Challenge Salou also includes the Aqua Challenge; this is a Duathlon where users can take part both individually or in relay mode, with an overall distance of 1,000 metres swimming and 10km on foot.

Organisers are also willing to promote sports practice on kids, and therefore, a number of activities specifically designed for children are also available, depending upon their ages, so that the whole family can participate together.

So you see, no staying-in on May 31! Go running, swimming or cycling on this exciting sports event. You will certainly enjoy a stunning sports celebration and you will keep healthy while getting to know the capital city of the Costa Daurada.
