Salou is an ideal city for sports enthusiasts: running, cycling, football, tennis and, obviously, sailing. This is why the capital of Costa Daurada will host the Techno 293 World Championship between 21 and 29 October, a truly spectacular international sports event.

Over the 6 competition days, Club Nàutic de Salou will welcome over 330 young athletes from various parts of the world: Ukraine, Argentina, Hong Kong, Singapore… overall, more than 30 nationalities and 12 events. In essence, this is a unique international showcase for the future world champions.

The event will also allow Salou to prove its potential when hosting water sports events, thanks to facilities such as the known as Base Nàutica –opened early this year–, especially when it’s less than a year before the 2018 Mediterranean Games, during which the capital of Costa Daurada will become the venue for Sailing events, besides Taekwondo.
