Looking forward to the 30 October Festivity?

The Salou City Council was born in 30 October 1989. From that moment, Salou celebrates a local festivity every 30 October, which will be opened this today, Wednesday 25 October, with a speech by Jordi Jané, ex councillor of the Catalan Government, an event that will take place in Salou City Hall at 8pm.

On Friday 27 October –at 6pm and for 24h–, Sala Europa in TAS will host the Lan Party, a unique event for online gamers. On 28 October, it will be time to enjoy fire around the streets of Salou, as the popular Cercavila del Foc (literally, Fire Parade) will take hundreds from Plaça Bonet to Plaça de la Pau at 8pm.

Also on Saturday, and coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the Local Library, check out the various workshops and games specially designed for kids that will be held in this key location, a place where those taking part will also be able to stay for the night, with loads of games, stories and other activities available.

Morena Salou 2017

On Sunday 29 October, time for the Popular Breakfast (11am) due opposite the Salou Tourist Board right before a spectacular Parade that will take all the various traditional local figures round Salou as of 12.30pm. Moreover, little children will also be able to give away their dummies to Morena de Salou, a truly emotional tradition.

The greatest day of the local festivity is due on Monday 30 October. First, the Festa del Panellet at Plaça del Carrilet (10.30am), a celebration that pays tribute to a traditional sweet dessert. Then, at 2pm, Parc Manuel Albinyana will host the Popular Paella event. Like chocolate? Check out then the Popular Chocolate event, where users will have a chance to try Panellets, due in Plaça del Carrilet at 5pm. Finally, don’t miss the various Halloween activities due on Tuesday 31 October, such as a zombie parade and a show by Toni Bright.
