Fall in love with Salou in 3 days!

Finally, it is time to live Salou once again, a unique destination where you can enjoy sports, discover the best cuisine and the beauty of its beaches and coves. Want to join us?

If you visit the capital of Costa Daurada this summer, we suggest that you discover the most amazing spots in our town in just 3 days. Get to the heart of the fishing essence and vitality of a town where you can live a healthy lifestyle near the Mediterranean.

When you arrive in Salou, you can start your route from Espigó del Moll and the monument to the Fisherman, a true witness of Salou’s fishing past. From, you’ll be right in our town’s main artery, Passeig Jaume I, one of our most beloved places, which follows Llevant beach. Don’t forget to visit the monument to Jaume I, the fountains, and take pictures of the Noucentista villas and the best souvenir of your holidays in Salou: the landmark you’ll find next to the Labyrinth fountain, with the sea behind it.

What about an ice cream? Passeig Jaume I is packed with bars and restaurants for you to sit back and enjoy the incredible atmosphere. Time to relax, and the best place for that is the Town Park, a unique natural area with a great variety of trees and plants, little ponds, wooden bridges and perfect spots to escape from high temperatures with a nice book or taking photos of every little detail around you.

The evening is the perfect moment to try the best seafood and international cuisine in Salou, and round off an amazing day with unforgettable sunsets from Pilons ─or any of our town’s viewpoints, for that matter─.

On the second day, we invite you to enjoy Salou by doing some sport, as Salou was awarded with the Sports Tourist Destination certificate, as well as receiving the Cycling Certification. You can ride your bike all the way to Cambrils, walk or simply enjoy running along the Coastal Path, an amazing route that will take you from Ponent beach all the way to the Lighthouse, through an area of huge natural interest. On your way, you will discover 4 of the most natural coves in our town ─Penya Tallada, Cala Font, Cala Vinya and Cala Crancs─, and get to Cap Salou, an area full of natural treasures and incredible views of the coastline. And don’t miss the Viewpoints Route and the Salou Lighthouse!

In the evening, if you’re travelling with your family, kids can have a great time in Bosc Aventura Salou. Also, wander along the area of Llevant beach, and both Barcelona and Carles Buïgas streets, packed with shops that will certainly suit your needs. Of course, don’t miss the Santa Maria del Mar church, Torre Vella and the old Carrilet train station.

The icing on the cake comes on the third day: PortAventura World, one of the most important family resorts in Europe, is here with an unforgettable adventura. You can choose from 3 theme parks: PortAventura Park, Caribe Aquatic Park or Ferrari Land. Ready to enjoy an incredible range of unique experiences?

This summer, see you in Salou!
